I took typography last quarter in school. This was probably my favorite project and what I am most proud of from that class. This particular assignment we had to take a quote from Marshall McLuhan’s “The Medium is the Message” and make it look like scroll. The scroll had to have a decorative boarder explaining what the quote was trying to say.

The thundering of hordes project I did for my perspective class. We got to pick any subject we wanted and any medium we would like. I picked Day of the Dead faces and skulls as my subject and then for the medium I picked marker and color pencil.

Sculpting
I’m taking sculpting this quarter at school and I have never sculpted anything before. The closest I have come was when I took ceramics in high school.
The first project we did for class was making a hand. We had to include all the details from finger nails to any wrinkle you have. The hand took about 5 hours or a little more but we had to construct an armature and build from that. Material – Monster Clay
Our second project was making eyes and ears in class. Material – Monster Clay
Experimenting with India Ink
Medium – India Ink, Finished – June 2010. I did this picture of Molly and I for art 4 senior year of high school and I really was going for friendship by doing an image of the two of us and fill the rest of the page with friendship quotes written by famous & anonymous people.
Medium – India Ink, Finished – Summer 2010. I did this as a request from Nana. She wanted me to create/draw something for her to give as a gift to here friend for his birthday. It is suppose to represent my Grandpa and his friend Gale.
Medium – India Ink, Finished – Fall 2009. The octopus was done for art 4 my senior year of high school and was first drawing I did in India ink. After doing this octopus, I fell in love with India ink.
